Mersal Final Business Update

We have received tonnes of queries regarding the business updates of Diwali Blockbuster Mersal. Though we were offline from last few weeks for certain project we were working on, which you will see this Christmas. Since film completes its 50 days run today we decided to give one final update on Mersal.

Joseph Vijay starrer flick has grossed over ₹254.05 crores globally, breaking and making many records. The film is Kollywood’s 3rd Biggest grosser in India and also Worldwide, only behind Rajinikanth’s Enthiran and Kabali. However if one consider only Tamil (or even Telugu) version of film, it was Biggest ever as the former two had ₹30 odd crores coming from Hindi version. Film grossed ₹176.67 crores in India till date, which is 5th (4th if not considering Dangal) Biggest of 2017, just behind Raees ₹179.34 crores. In Overseas it grossed ₹77.43 crores or $11.93 millions, which is 4th biggest of year behind Dangal, Baahubali 2 and Raees. In All time list, film was good enough to enter Top 30 domestic grosser while #22 in worldwide charts.
